What you are buying

A digital song file and a hosted memorial page at a link that does not expire. Prices are in US dollars and are shown at checkout: $149 for the song, the page and the lyric sheet PDF, and $199 with priority delivery as well. Orders placed by 11:59 pm Los Angeles time on Oct 31, 2026 pay the launch price instead: $97 and $147.

How the song is made

AI writes the lyrics and the music from the answers you give. A person listens to every song before it is sent. Nobody at Songhounds plays or sings on your song, and we never say otherwise.

Because the songs are generated, two songs made from similar answers can resemble each other. Artist names, brand names and the names of people outside your household are not accepted in the lyrics.

Delivery

Standard delivery is by email within 7 days of your order. Priority delivery is within 24 hours of your order.

Delivery is complete when your song is available at your order page and the delivery email has been sent, whether or not you open it. Check your spam folder if you do not see it.

You are responsible for giving us an email address that can receive our mail. If yours changes or bounces, reply from any address and we will send the link again.

Refunds

The song and the lyric sheet PDF carry a 30-day money-back guarantee. Reply to your order email within 30 days of purchase and we refund them in full, no questions asked.

Priority delivery is the one exception. It is the $50 difference between Complete and the song with the lyric sheet. Once your song arrives within 24 hours, that $50 has done its job and is not refunded. If we miss the 24 hours, we refund the $50 in full and the guarantee on the song is untouched.

If a charge looks wrong, reply to your order email first. A person answers, and we would rather fix it than have you raise a chargeback with your bank.

What you can do with the song

You get a perpetual, worldwide license to use the song online and offline, including commercially. You may keep it, download it, share it, perform it, put it in other work, release it on streaming services and sell it. The license does not cover film, television, radio or video games, because our music provider's license to us does not. We will not revoke this license.

Fully AI-generated works are not eligible for copyright registration in the United States. Songhounds does not transfer or promise any copyright in your song.

Your photo and your story

You confirm that the photo and story you upload are yours to share and do not identify other people without their consent.

The memorial page is public at its address, like a shared photo album. Ask us and we remove it. We do not use your story, your photo or your song in our own marketing unless you tell us we can.

Using the site

Do not upload anything unlawful, use the site to harass anyone, try to get around its security, or scrape it. We may cancel and refund an order that breaks these terms.

What we are responsible for

A song is a creative result, so it can differ from what you pictured. That is what the 30-day guarantee is for.

If something goes wrong on our side we will send the song again or refund it. Our total responsibility for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for losses beyond that, as far as the law allows.

You cover us for claims that come from content you upload, from your use of the site, or from your breaking these terms.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms, and the date above changes when we do. Your order is governed by the terms in force on the day you placed it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the state where Songhounds' operating entity is registered, which will be named here when that entity is formed.
